CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL FUNDING

The Cener for Educational Funding provides all of the services related to the development and submission of the annual LEA Application for ESSA-Funded Programs.

The following is a description of the two options from which schools can choose that best meets their needs or level of services required.

Or we can custom design a package for your school or district.

1.  Basic Package

 LEA Application for ESSA-Funded Programs

Preparation of the required annual school plan for consolidating all ESSA Title Grant Allocation Programs - Title I, Title IIA, Title III-ELL, and Title III-Immigrant Education – due at the NYSED by August 31^st each year – will include the following:

•  All on-line narrative sections of the LEA Application.
  
• FS10 Budgets for Title grant programs with an allocation.
• Budget Narratives for Title grant programs requiring a Budget.
• TITLE I REMINDERS
• We will provide periodic email newsletters for THE SCHOOL highlighting Title I requirements, Title I workshop notices and other pertinent information from the NYSED regarding Title I.

2.  Enhanced Package – includes the Basic Package plus all of the following:

•  Prepare any requested information from NYSED reviewers regarding the LEA Application.
• Monitor the SED approval process of the LEA Application and each Title grant to ensure timely reviews and approvals - plus on-going fiscal analysis of Title grants to ensure that THE SCHOOL is receiving all of the grant funds to which it is entitled.
• Required Payroll Certification Forms for each full and part-time funded Title grant employee.
• FS10A Budget Amendments after the Title I FINAL Allocation is released by the SED in January and at other times as requested by THE SCHOOL.
• Amended Budget Narratives to accompany the FS10A Budget Amendments.
• FS25 Request for Funds Report for each Title grant budget. 
• This Report will be prepared every other month once the NYSED has provided THE SCHOOL with its initial 20% payment.  This ensures continuous cash flow to cover grant-related expenditures that occur throughout the school year.
• Draft FS10F Final Expenditure Report for each Title grant program upon its completion.
• State Audits or Monitoring Visits related to TitleI and Title IIA:
• Assist THE SCHOOL in preparing for monitoring visits, on-site audits or desk audits conducted by the NYSED, NYCDOE and/or CSI.
• Assist THE SCHOOL in the preparation of responses related to any Findings during the visit or audit.
• Unlimited Technical Assistance to THE SCHOOL by phone and email throughout the contract period.
