The CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL FUNDING is an educational support company founded in 2003 by William G. Brinkman

We offer the K-12 school community educational support services through our two divisions:

Grants Management Services

 LEA Application

The Center for Educational Funding provides all of the services related to the development and submission of the annual LEA Application for ESSA-Funded Programs.

The LEA Application section (see tab above) describes the two options from which schools can choose to best meet their needs or level of services required.

Or we can custom design a package for your school or district.

All of our services can be included in the school's grant budgets as a grant-related expenditure - which means no additional cost to the school for our services.

Many of our client schools pay for our services with grant funds - rather than their operating budget - because they are all allowable grant expenses.

WHO WE ARE

Our offices are staffed and located in Albany and New York City.

Bill Brinkman leads our New York State Region from Albany and Patricia Wong leads our New York City office.

Bill Brinkman:

• Bill has 23 years of experience managing $1.3 billion annually in Federal and State grant funds for the New York State Education Department.

• Bill has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

• Bill served on the Board of Education of the Guilderland Central School District, a suburb of Albany, from 1990 to 2005, and served as its President or Vice President from 2000-2005.

  Patricia Wong:

• Pat has 22 years of experience monitoring and auditing the Title I programs of the New York City public schools and charter schools for the New York State Education Department.  She has also participated in QR-JIT Reviews of New York City schools identified as Persistently Lowest Achieving.
  

• Pat has been an Adjunct Professor at Pace and CUNY for many years.

• Pat is a Certified and Highly Qualified Teacher at both the elementary and high school levels.
